Description
Vantage Jobs is hiring 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice for a
client operating Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM dealership in Westlock, Vegreville, High
Prairie in Alberta.
This position offers hands-on experience, guidance from experienced journeyperson
technicians, and opportunities to develop your technical skills while progressing toward
certification. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, is eager to learn, and
wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Currently registered in Alberta as a 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician
Apprentice.
• Previous hands-on automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced technicians.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks independently as training and experience allow.
• Valid Alberta driver’s licence and an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation to the dealership in Westlock.
• Dependability, a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or RAM experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs under the guidance of
licensed technicians
· Complete oil changes, brake repairs, steering and suspension work, tire service, and other
general mechanical repairs
· Assist with electrical and drivability diagnostics
· Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership safety standards
· Accurately document repairs and work performed on repair orders
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Continue progressing toward completion of the Automotive Service Technician
apprenticeship program
