Description

Position Title: DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH AND PARTNERSHIPS
Organization: The Alberta Helpers
Virtual, 2-3 hours/week

The Alberta Helpers provides free online tutoring for elementary, junior high, and high school students throughout Alberta. We are a youth-run organization partnered with the YouthInspirED Foundation and YWCA Lethbridge.

This volunteer Director of Outreach and Partnerships will reach out to schools, local groups, nonprofits, and community organizations across Alberta; build and maintain positive partnerships; send friendly outreach emails to promote our programs; and help plan or support occasional in-person community events.

This is a volunteer position with an expected commitment of 2-3 hours per week, conducted remotely.

Qualifications

Comfortable communicating with new people; friendly, positive, professional tone; organized; interest in community engagement, partnerships, marketing, or communications. No previous outreach experience needed.
