Description
Position Title: SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR
Organization: The Alberta Helpers
Virtual, 2-3 hours/week
The Alberta Helpers provides free online tutoring for elementary, junior high, and high school students throughout Alberta. We are a youth-run organization that runs in partnership with YouthInspirED Foundation and YWCA Lethbridge.
This volunteer Social Media Director will manage our Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts; create simple, engaging posts (graphics, short videos, announcements, or fun updates); keep our brand voice friendly, positive, and consistent; and interact with followers by responding to comments and messages.
This is a volunteer position with an expected commitment of 2-3 hours per week, conducted remotely.

Qualifications
Interest in social media, content creation, or digital storytelling; basic understanding of major platforms; creativity; clear communication skills; comfort working independently. No formal experience needed.
