Qualifications
Experience:
? Appropriate certification as a HCA is required or equivalent
? Will consider first year LPN students and second year RN students
? Experience with dementia care is an asset
Skills:
? Ability to work independently
? Excellent caregiving skills and a compassionate nature
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to follow instructions and work independently
? Good organizational skills and attention to detail
? Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
Language requirements:
? Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
Schedule:
? Days
? Evenings
? Weekends
? Sleep Nights
Transportation:
? Vehicle required
Responsibilities
Duties:
? Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
? Assist with mobility transfers, ensuring client safety
? Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
? Assist with meal preparation and feeding
? Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as light cleaning and laundry
? Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
? Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as toileting and hygiene
? Monitor and report any changes in clients’ condition to the supervisor
Pay Rate
$18-20
