Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic seasonal, full-time Summer Heritage Interpreter to join the lively and dynamic Interpretive Program team based in Police Point Park in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Our Park Interpreters work with school groups, community groups, tourists, and local visitors. There are established interpretive programs to adapt and exciting opportunities to lead new events, create vibrant displays, grow our social media presence, and explore the unique ecosystems of southeastern Alberta.
Qualifications
Creative youth with related studies and personal interests in prairie heritage and ecosystems are invited to apply. Post-secondary education in natural sciences or natural history and/or experience leading groups would be considered an asset.
Term Of Appointment
This position will be filled pending funding approval. Funding for this position requires applicants to be youth between the ages of 15 and 30. Funding may also require applicants to be full-time students in the semester preceding and immediately following the summer work term.
Pay: $15.25 per hour
