Description
The Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic reporting to the EMS Manager the Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons.

Qualifications
Education
Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
Licenses
International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
Valid Class 4 driver's license
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
Other Education and Training
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong interpersonal skills

Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP/EMT-P
