Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible to the Manager. As an interdisciplinary team member the Speech Language Pathologist is required to assess, diagnose and treat clients with communication and/or swallowing disorders. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
Qualifications
Experience
Two (2) years experience in Acute Care
Experience to assess and treat head/neck cancer related disorders preferred
Experience with provision and monitoring of voice prosthesis is preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Education
Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
Other Education and Training
Current CPR certification
Pay Rate
$43.309 to $52.958
