A large, well-established industrial employer in British Columbia is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join its maintenance team. This organization operates large-scale equipment in a safety-driven, unionized environment and offers long-term stability, competitive compensation, and relocation support.
Important Note
This is not a fly-in / fly-out position.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Kootenay region of British Columbia or nearby communities in southwestern Alberta.

Qualifications
Requirements
Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, OR 4th-Year Apprentice close to completion
Valid driver’s license
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
Previous heavy equipment or mining experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
The Role
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will:
Diagnose, maintain, and repair large mobile equipment including haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders, excavators, and shovels
Rebuild and service engines, transmissions, hydraulics, driveline assemblies, fuel and cooling systems, and electrical components
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
Follow safe work procedures and contribute to continuous reliability improvements
