Description
We are a small Licensed Day Home Agency that operates together with the College Child Development Centre. Our Coordinator is able to set you up with the tools and skills to operate a safe, caring, and professional day home program. Previous training is not a requirement of this job. You will receive a contract with the agency to operate if successful, but you will be considered self employed.
Qualifications
A day home operator with our agency needs the following before signing a contract. Police vulnerable sector check for yourself and all family members living with you over the age of 18.You must pass an approved first aid course. We supply you with a checklist to complete all the requirements for safety and provincial childcare standards. If you do not have a provincial child care certification level you will need to enroll and complete a free online training course.

We appreciate applicants who meet the following criteria: Responsible and reliable, fair and kind, able to pre-plan activities and menus, enjoy engaging in play with children, able to attend some meetings and trainings throughout the year in the evening. Our Day Home operators re-contract annually with our agency.
