Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science (majoring in chemistry or other relevant undergraduate degree), or in a technical diploma program (chemistry or other relevant diploma)
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities
- Record and report analytical results in compliance with established quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Comply with the operating and maintenance safe work practices
- Follow procedures and comply with standards
- Support the department and internal customers by providing analytical, instrumental, and technical problem solving
Term Of Appointment
This is a/an 4, 8, 12- month term commitment beginning in January 2026. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application.
Location for this role includes our MacKay river site in Fort McMurray or our camp-based Fort Hills mining site, located in Alberta’s Athabasca region, 90 kilometers north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will be asked to indicate your location preferences in your application.
The shift schedule is a 6 days on / 6 days off rotation (Mackay river) and a 7 days on/7days off rotation (Fort Hills).
Students who live and work in Fort McMurray are eligible for a cash allowance to address the cost of living and the remote nature of the region.
