Requirements
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Microsoft and Buildertrend
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations is preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- A diploma or certification in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a relevant field is advantageous
- Prior experience in a similar role is an asset
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll create clear, accurate residential drawings and cabinetry designs that are essential to the success of our construction and renovation projects. From custom cabinet layouts to estimating and scheduling, your work will help guide each stage of the process, ensuring every detail is considered.
Duties:
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Buildertrend, and Microsoft Excel to create precise technical drawings and plans
- Draft detailed layouts for buildings, infrastructure for residential construction with accuracy and care
- Review and revise existing drawings as needed to reflect changes in project scope or specifications
- Prepare presentation materials, including 3D models using Sketchup for client meetings
- Ensure all drafts comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy access by team members
- Cabinet drafting and design

- Production scheduling
- Estimating take offs
