Description
Seeking respite workers for “M”, a 7-year-old with Cerebral Palsy. Shifts are super flexible, primarily evenings and weekend days. Perfect for nursing students or others in health care or child development related programs.
M is a cuddly, cheesy guy that loves tickles, music and likes and to be around others. He is non-verbal and non-ambulatory. If you’d like to spend time playing, cuddling or partying when you should be sleeping, you could be the perfect fit for M.
Qualifications
All training will be provided. Education or experience in Child Development or Health Care fields would be an asset but not needed. Previous experience working with those with disabilities not required.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing personal care, feeding via G-Tube (training will be provided), hanging out, reading, watching TV, listening to music, having dance parties and going for walks.
