Description

Note: The summer positions are temporary, 16-week positions with full-time hours (35-40 hours/week) and are conditional upon the approval of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant.
Qualifications
With the positions being funded through CSJ grant program, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Requirements:
Currently pursuing and/or completed post-secondary education in a related field
Ability to take direction and work independently
Basic computer skills
Efficient organizing and time-management skills
Clear and current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check or one that is acceptable to the Executive Director
Alberta Class 5 Drivers License (required for some positions)
