JOB DESCRIPTION:
UVAD is looking for a talented individual with an art and design background who can support UVAD public presence and corporate identity through well executed digital design materials. UVAD has a need for professional digital design work to promote product commercialization and enhance our reputation as an established provider of advanced technology products. This individual will be a core contributor for the development and release of corporate digital design materials. They will be provided the flexibility and direction to use their creative talent and digital skillset to develop digital designs for UVAD and practice working in an industry setting.
ABOUT UVAD:
UVAD designs, develops, and manufactures industrial grade Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for commercial and security applications. UVAD continues to solve global needs through autonomous system solutions and advanced market products. We have a talented multi-disciplinary team pushing UAV technology past possible. This is an emerging industry with growth opportunities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrolled in Art & Design, Visual Communication, or a related program.
• Has a good working knowledge of 2D/3D design, video processing, and image editing tools to produce functional digital design material.
• Knowledge or ability to learn Blender, Adobe Products, Gimp, Canva and Inkscape.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ideal candidate would have an aptitude for producing digital design in a technology related field.
• The candidate will need to demonstrate detail orientation to their work, as well as working well in a team dynamic.
• The candidate must be willing accept constructive feedback for design interactions.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
This role will involve conceptualizing, developing, and implementing design for various corporate displays, including tying UVAD technology, color, and graphic themes together to produce:
• Promotional video’s using Blender
• 3D images and animation
• Website design materials
• Logo & branding
• Corporate presentations
• Product concept storyboarding
• Tradeshow material design
• Business cards
• Social media materials
• Office and shop signage
• Brochures and specification sheets
• Others as business needs change

$26/hr
