Youth Services Casual Assistant...Where Fun Meets Impact!

You’ll work with children/ teens aged 5-17 in a dynamic setting, supporting emotional well-being, teaching coping strategies, & creating a safe, positive environment for mental health. Your role will focus on fun, creativity, & being a positive role model for the next generation. Plus, you’ll be joining a team that’s all about laughter, teamwork, & a shared love of a good old potluck lunch!

Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Mental Health & Wellness: Help lead activities and lessons that promote mental well-being, such as mindfulness exercises, stress management techniques, and open discussions about emotions. Help kids understand the importance of taking care of their mental health. Don’t worry…we will provide you with all the tools and training.
- Crafting & Creating: Lead fun arts and crafts sessions where kids can express their creativity and build something cool, all while promoting mindfulness and self-expression.
- Playing Games: From outdoor adventures to board games and team-building exercises, you'll help kids build confidence, develop social skills, and foster emotional resilience.
- Role Modeling: Show up as a caring, reliable, and positive influence in the lives of children and teens. Your actions will inspire healthy emotional habits and create a safe space for kids to feel heard and understood.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of energetic and fun-loving people who believe in creating a supportive environment for every kid, emotionally and socially.
- Building Relationships: Get to know the kids in your care, listen to their ideas, and help guide them through life’s ups and downs with patience, empathy, and kindness. Provide a listening ear and encourage open conversations about mental health.
