Qualifications
Strong agronomic competence through an agricultural background and a high level of attention to detail.
Problem solving skills and the ability to be flexible and modify plans as situations change.
The ability to work in a group as well as be self-motivated to get solo tasks accomplished.
Mechanical aptitude and experience operating equipment is an advantage.
Comfortable being on the road for extended periods of time, driving highway and grid roads to get to post harvest sites.

Providing support to the compliance monitoring program, aiding in the advancement of new traits.
Being responsible for compliance monitoring and maintenance of trial site isolation areas and post-harvest sites to a high standard.
Weekly monitoring of isolation areas and post-harvest sites for the presence of prohibited species and maintaining the sites to a standard expected by our organization and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency
using techniques such as spraying, tilling, burning, and mowing.
Ensuring standard operating procedures are maintained and followed.
