Description
ARBI is seeking a motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and 2+ years’ neuro-rehabilitation experience to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team at a unique community-based rehabilitation program for adults with moderate to severe acquired brain injury and stroke.
This position will be temporary part time (0.6 FTE) from approximately April 9 – Jun 13, 2024.

Qualifications
- Rehabilitation related Diploma/Degree (e.g., Therapy Assistant) or equivalent required
- Neuro-rehab experience strongly preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Cleared criminal records check with vulnerable persons
Responsibilities
- Implement client therapy programs developed by therapists (SLP, OT, PT)
- Facilitate group therapy in-person and virtually
- Provide training and ongoing support to volunteers, students and support workers
- Ensure clients and volunteers are working in a safe, positive environment
- Organize/coordinate caseload (client planning meetings, training, appointments, maintaining accurate scheduling calendar, etc.)
- Liaise with therapists and RA Clinical Lead regarding concerns and progress of individual clients
- Maintain therapy equipment and supplies including ordering, safety inspection and other duties as assigned
