Description
Medcor Canada is looking to hire a Primary Care Paramedic for the Canadian Forces Base located in Suffield, AB. This project is working 7-7.5-hour days Monday to Friday. This is not an industrial Project. This position is working ground Ambulance on the base. It is a Civilian role. This is a Local to Medicine Hat position. This is a Casual role.

A typical day in the life of a Medcor Canada Practitioner:
Provide superior clinical care to Medcor Canada’s client and employees
Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards
Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
Collaborate with our client on clinical issues
Support client’s wellness and preventative programs
Document and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
Qualifications
You Must
Be licensed by the Alberta College of Paramedics at the PCP Level
Have current BLS Certification
Have a valid class 4 Driver’s License
Live or be willing to relocate to Medicine Hat
You Should
Be comfortable working in an ambulance
Be comfortable and productive working with computers and EMR software
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients and colleagues
Responsibilities
Provide Emergency Response when required
Pay Rate
$28.00 Hour
